You may need to install the Analysis Toolpack/VBA, click Tools - Add-ins, tick them and then click OK
Enter your values by type into the 'Budget Income' and 'Budget Outgoings' sheets for the year then when you receive or spend money add the details to the 'Actual' sheets. The 'Total Monthly In Out' sheet will give you a monthly breakdown of budget v actual for the year plus a graph.
